Debbie is a Boston native who studied voice and performance at Berklee College Of Music. Her stunning vocals have won her many accolades while attending school and her upbeat, fun presence makes every performance with Nightlife a paty! Debbie is also an accomplished singer-songwriter as well as a multi instrumentalist, playing Keyboards and Guitar.
Yuval "UV"- Band Leader, Lead
Vocals, Keyboards UV began taking music lessons at the age of 5. UV majored in film scoring and minored in performance at Berklee College of Music in Boston and graduated Magna Cum Laude. UV teaches piano and voice in the Boston area. He has performed worldwide for over 15 years as a piano player and a singer. He is also a studio musician. UV has toured in Israel, Germany, the Czech Republic, England, France, Canada and the United States with various artists. Currently, UV is promoting his debut album, does session work and performs regionally as a pianist and a singer (in every popular style). UV has also appeared on numerous television shows in the United States and in other parts of the world. to his credit, he also has many years of volunteer concert appearances that were in for the prevention of Cancer, AIDS, Autism, and for UNICEF. to hear UV's original music please go to: www.playuv.com
Ryan-Bass, Backing Vocals Ryan was born in Los Angeles, California and grew up in a musical family. At the age of five he began playing a guitar his father brought back from Mexico and never looked back. He spent his childhood learning to play both string and woodwind instruments before falling in love with the bass in his early teens. After earning performance scholarships to attend Berklee, USC, and other top music schools, Ryan attended the prestigious University of Miami School of Music and eventually earned a degree in music performance from the University of Colorado. His playing is heavily influenced by James Jamerson (Motown), Rocco Prestia (Tower of Power), Jaco Pastorius, Anthony Jackson, Lee Sklar, and Meshell Ndegeocello. Soon after college Ryan became immersed in the music scene home in L.A. Performances in venues all over the world like the House of Blues, the Gig, the Knitting Factory, the 2002 Winter Olympics, and the Theater du Champs Elysees kept him in demand. His resume includes work with Grammy winners Jeff Hamilton and Don Grusin, stand out solo artists and songwriters like Devon, Eric Hickenlooper, Jason Lugo, and Hiram Bullock, and session dates in the famed Record Plant, Westlake Audio, and numerous other rooms around the country. In 2004 Ryan moved to Boston to earn a Master in Architecture degree from Harvard University. Now he is enjoying life in New England and playing bass for Nightlife!
Giuseppe-Drums, Percussion Giuseppe was born in Santeramo Italy and started his musical studies on drums at the age of six years. Besides his classical training at the conservatories in Italy, he started to approach jazz and modern music, studying drums and attending a lot of master classes and clinics with international renown musicians, in Italy and at the Superior National Conservatory of Paris, France. Guiseppe also attended the Berklee Summer School at Umbria Jazz clinics where he received a full time, four year Scholarship to Berklee College Of Music in Boston wherwe he majored in drum performance and studied with some of the finest jazz musicians and educators in the world. His background as a drummer includes many styles of music such as jazz, blues, pop, funk, soul, reggae, rock, folk, flamenco etc.. Guiseppe bring his own unique style and flair to Nightlife's grooving rhythm section!
Alon-Guitar, Backing Vocals Alon was born in Israel, but moved around until ending up in Cincinnati, OH at the age of 6. His musical development began around the age of 9 when he picked up a guitar for the first time and began taking lessons at a local music store. Throughout elementary and high school he would continue his musical education on guitar and also orchestral percussion. He utilized both in his high school jazz band, orchestra, and wind ensembles. Upon graduation, Alon relocated to Boston to attend the Berklee College of Music. He was involved in several bands while in college He continues to display his great guitar chops as guitaist for Nightlife.
Nathan - Trumpet
Nathan is a Berklee College of Music graduate with over 15 years playing and performing experience. Through the years, Nathan developed his skills on the trumpet, along the way being selected as one of the top High School jazz trumpeters in Massachusetts for two straight years, performing with such jazz acts as Rufus Reid and Chris Vadala. At the prestigious Berklee College of Music, he studied trumpet performance with the likes of Tiger Okoshi and Empire Brass founding member Charlie Lewis, and has worked in the studio with Grammy Nominated artist Christian Scott. Over the last few years, he has performed with some of the top dance bands in the Boston area such as Flipside, UNITY, the All-Nighters, The Chicken Slacks Soul Revue, and many others, in addition to his jazz endeavors. Nathan also loves to write, produce, and teach music throughout the Boston area.
Mark - Saxaphone
Graduated from Berklee College of Music and has played in many different types of ensambles in the New England area. With many gigs under his belt he is an exciting and versitile performer with great ability and always has a fun time playing with Nightlife!
